EAGLE LAKE, FLORIDA -  Shirley Walker Derreberry "Pinkie", 70, of Eagle Lake, Florida, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2009 at home from respiratory failure. 

A native of Nashville, Georgia, born December 1, 1938, Shirley moved here in 1953 from Nashville.  She was a Sectionizer for Bordo Citrus Products, and was a member of Lake Region Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by a son Franklin Allen Chaney, Jr., and a brother:  Kenneth Leroy Walker.  She is survived by her husband:  Henry Derreberry of Eagle Lake; a daughter:  Serena Williams of Pulaski, TN; three sisters:  Joann Warren of Eagle Lake,  Janie Barnhill of Winter Haven, and Eloise Youghn of Ocilla, GA. 

Visitation will be Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 10AM until 12 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.  Funeral services will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be at Lakeside Memorial Park.
