DAVENPORT - Vashti Cliett, 90, of Davenport, FL, died 5/11/09, in Davenport.

She was born 10/8/18 in Emanuel County, GA and moved to Davenport from Coffee County, GA in 1929. Vashti was employed in the citrus industry working for both Adams Packing and Haines City Citrus Growers Assoc., she was a member of First Baptist Church of Davenport and she was a fantastic cook.

She is predeceased by her husband of 65 years James B. Cliett and son, Steve Cliett, and she is survived by her son, Philip B. (Sharon) Cliett of Haines City, FL; sisters, Rebecca Van Dyke of Valdosta, GA, Frances Gill of Winter Haven, FL; 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
