HAINES CITY - Frances Foster Gammill, 86, who was born on 9/16/22 in Greenville, MS to Paul David and Iva Frances Evers Foster, passed away on 5/23/09 in Haines City, FL.

She was predeceased by her son, Thomas Lester Gammill III and survived by her daughter, Frances (Van) Meador of FL; siblings, Pauline Hutson of FL, Hellen Steadman of CA, Paul D. (Susie) Foster of FL; daughter-in-law, Diane Gammill of AR; grandchildren,Van (Marcelle) Meador Jr. of LA, Dana (Ed) Stratton of NY, Dan (Kim) Gammill of MS, Sarah Gammill of LA; great grandchildren, Amanda, Elizabeth & Thomas Gammill, Jeffery & Alesha Stratton and her step great grandchildren, Christopher & Kayla Stratton.

Before retiring to Jackson, MS, she was an executive officer of the American Lung Association in Blytheville & Little Rock, AR, New Orleans, LA and Atlanta, GA. She was a local artist in Jackson. She taught art in Ridgeland, MS. She belonged to the Bridge Club & held a Life Master in Bridge.

She lived the last 5 years in Carlsbad, CA with her sister, Hellen and was living with her daughter, Frances at the time of her death.
