WINTER HAVEN- Margaret P. Hutchinson, 83, of Winter Haven, died Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Consulate Health Care in Winter Haven due to respiratory failure.

Born September 1, 1925 to Alto "Bud" and Grace Beaver Pickett in Lake Wales, FL, she was a lifelong resident of the area. Margaret attended the Florida State College for Women, was retired as a secretary for the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture and was a member of the Beymer United Methodist Church.   

Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James R. Hutchinson, Sr., she is survived by: a son Jimmy (Donna) Hutchinson, Jr.of Winter Haven; a daughter, Annette (James) Hutchinson Osborn of Seffner, Fl; a granddaughter, Bridget (Wade)  Leithead of Polk City, FL; and 2 great-grandsons, Tyler and Blaise Leithead. 

A Gathering of Friends will be held from 6:00pm till 8:00pm, Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd.,Winter Haven.   The family would like to thank Consulate Health Care and Good Shepherd Hospice for their wonderful and caring service to Margaret.  Memorials may be sent at www.goodshepherdhospice.org.
