HAINES CITY - Wilma F. Brown, 83, of Haines City, FL, died March 22, 2009, in Auburndale, FL due to a stroke.

She was born April 9, 1925 in Dickson, TN and moved to Haines City 45 years ago from LaBelle, FL. Wilma was a homemaker who loved to cook, a member of the garden club of Haines City and the Order of Eastern Star Haines City Chapter 68, and she was of the Presbyterian faith.

She is survived by her husband, of 43 years, James "Jim" Brown; children, Rosemary Dean of St. Augustine, Fl, Robert L. Mims of LaBelle, Judy McLane of Otwell, IN, Debra K. Walk of Louisville, KY, Michael L. Brown of Lakeland, FL; brother, Neil Fussell of Centerville, TN; grandchildren, Shawn, Amy and Candy; great grandchildren, Meg and Baylen.

A gathering of friends will be held on Monday, 3/30/09 from 10-11 a.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City with a memorial service to follow at 11 am.
