WINTER HAVEN – Robert George Gregonis, 59, of Winter Haven, Fl,  died Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Winter Haven Hospital due to Heart Failure. Born to Vincent and Violet Bosford Gregonis July 25, 1949 in Worcester, MA, he moved to Winter Haven 2 years ago from Brooklyn, CT.  He was of the Catholic Faith and retired after working for Worcester Gear Works for 35 years, and was a member of the Lithuanian Club of Worcester, MA.  Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by: his wife of 24 years, Nora Gregonis; a step-son, Scott Hopkins and his wife Cruz Ayala of Sunnyvale, CA; a step-daughter, Amber Hopkins of Berlin, CT; 2 brothers, Vincent Gregonis of Oxford, MA and Allen Gregonis and his wife Victoria of Houston, TX; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law,  nieces and nephews.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
