WINTER HAVEN - G. Lewis Jones, Jr., 67, of Winter Haven, died Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Residence Center in Auburndale due to cancer. Born April 28, 1941 to George L. and Luna Merrill Jones in Miami, Florida, he lived in Orlando, FL for 25 years before moving to Winter Haven 14 months ago.  He was self-employed  in Real Estate and was of the Protestant Faith.  Lewis loved Fishing, Boating and especially spending time with his grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Wendy Ann Jones; a son, Wayne Jones and his wife, Tami of Casselberry, FL; a daughter, Tammy Malone and her husband Ted of Brandon, FL; a sister, Elaine Campbell of Williston, SC; and 6 grandchildren, Hayley, Tyler, Alyssa, Caitlin, Tara and Conor.  The family will receive friends from 1:00pm till 2:00pm, Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Boulevard, NW, Winter Haven, FL.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.  In lieu of flowers please make Memorial Donations in his memory to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823.  Condolences may be sent at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
