LAKELAND, FL -   Michael Joseph Welsh, 23, of Auburndale, FL died Saturday, June 27, 2009 in Lakeland, cause of death is pending.

Born to John F. and Diana Duncan Welsh, March 5, 1986 in Winter Haven he has been a lifelong resident of the area.  Michael was an Estimator/ Lead Mechanic for Payne Air Conditioning and Heating and was of the Christian Faith.  He loved to hang out with his numerous friends, boating and 4-wheeling. 

He is survived by: his parents John and Diana Welsh of Auburndale; a brother, Christopher Welsh of Auburndale; a sister, Michelle Whitehead of Auburndale; his paternal grandmother, Geraldine Welsh of Davenport; his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Janice Duncan of Haines City; and numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 2, 2009 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Don Steiner officiating.
