Margaret Lenore Weaver (Fenner)

    Teacher, Musician, Mother, Grandmother of many

 M. Lenore Weaver, age 92, resident of Haines City, Florida, spouse of  Rev. Horace R. Weaver, passed away on May 29th, 2009 of natural causes  in the hospital surrounded by family and friends. 

She was born January 5, 1917, in Columbus, Ohio and was married for  over 50 years to Horace, who passed away in September 1997. Lenore attended Capitol University, in Columbus, Ohio, and was a Music  Teacher by training, but had a diverse skill set. Music was a great  part of her life, and she and her husband would play piano and sing in  their leisure time. Lenore enjoyed gardening, and watching the birds  and butterflies that frequented her yard. She was a world traveler,  and had many stories to prove it.

Lenore is survived by her two daughters, Dr. Cheryl de Zayas, of Winter Haven, Florida, and Diane Young, of Haines City, Florida; and > her 4 grandchildren.  She was grandma and abuelita to all the children at "Dr d's" office  for the last two years where she worked as the senior volunteer.  She is sorely missed and greatly loved by all.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 2:00pm at  Oak Ridge Funeral Care (www.oakridgefuneralcare.com  http://www.oakridgefuneralcare.com) in Haines City, FL.
