DAVENPORT - James "Worm" Rayborn, 55, of Davenport, FL passed away on July 8, 2009 at his residence due to heart failure.
He was born March 27, 1954 in Haines City, FL and has been a lifelong resident of Polk County. James was a lumber salesman for some 28 years serving all of Polk County, he was a member, for many years, of First Baptist Church of Davenport, where he taught Sunday school but recently has become a member of Four Corner Baptist Church. James coached Little League, and he Loved to be outdoors, air boating, motorcycling, hunting, fishing and gardening to name a few of his interests.
He is predeceased by his father, James Richard Rayborn and is survived by his mother, Eva Rayborn Wichner; children, Scotty Rayborn of Dickson, TN, Carrie (David) Smith of Davenport and 5 grandchildren.
