HAINES CITY -- Buford W. Foley of Haines City, Florida passed away on July 17, 2009 in Winter Haven, Florida. He was 81.

Buford was born Wednesday, March 14, 1928 to John and Daisy Steakmon Foley in Joiner, Arkansas and moved to Haines City from Joiner in 1964. He was a grove worker in the citrus industry.

Buford is predeceased by his wife, Gladys Clements Foley; sons, Buford Foley, Jr. and Carl Foley. He is survived by daughters, Brenda Sue Mullinex of Dundee, Florida, Mary Sue Soto of Haines City, Geneva Roper of Davenport, Florida, Juanita Taylor of Auburndale, Florida, Dorothy Otte of Haines City and Jeanette Foley of Haines City; sisters, Mary Ellen Jackson and Carolyn Nolan both of California; twenty one grandchildren; thirty seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City with Pastor Christopher Odom officiating. Final resting place will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Davenport, Florida.
