Winter Haven - Muriel Grace Bishop, 85, of Winter Haven, FL died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at her residence due to complications from Heart Failure.

Born November 13, 1923 to the late Henry James and Dorothy Housden Lock Deacon in Bangor, PA where she lived most of her entire life before moving to Winter Haven in 1984.   She was of the Protestant Faith and had worked in Quality Control at Blue Ridge-Winkler  Textile from 1951 till retirement in 1982.  She loved Camping, Fishing, Boating, Vacationing in Canada and Enjoying a summer home on the Delaware River in Pennsylvania.

Preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Kenneth and John Lock, she is survived by: her husband of 69 years, Harold Thomas Bishop; a daughter, Beverly DePamphilis and Her husband James of Winter Haven;  a son, Dennis Bishop and his wife Benedette of Center Valley, PA; 7 grandchildren, Jeffrey DePamphilis, Krista D’Annibale, Melissa Jarman, and Jason, Brent, Ryan and Jenna Bishop; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

Graveside Services will be held in the Northampton Memorial Shrine Cemetery in Easton, PA.  In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations in her name to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823.
