DAVENPORT - Elizabeth "Betty" Bevins Linder, 75, of Davenport, FL passed away on July 7, 2009 in Haines City due to heart failure.

She was born February 22, 1933 in Corrina, ME to William J. and Marion K. Bates Fietz and moved to Davenport some 25 years ago from Plant City, FL. Betty worked as a telephone operator for Peninsular Telephone Co., the Hillsborough County School System and lastly as a secretary in the medical field. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Davenport where she was very active including being a Sunday School Teacher. Betty loved her family, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents and first husband, Charles "Chuck" Bevins. Betty is survived by her loving family, husband, of 25 years, Lee E. Linder; children, Larry (Kathy) Linder of Davenport, Marcie (Lee) Collins of Auburndale, FL, Jerry (Alicia) Linder of Lake Wales, FL, Laurie (Joel) McDuffie of Niceville, FL; siblings, William Fietz, Joyce Lewis, Sally Smith, Rosie Smith; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City with funeral service being Friday at 11 am at First Baptist Church, Davenport.
