DAVENPORT - Mary Ballin, 93, of Davenport, Fl passed away on July 1, 2009 in Clermont, FL.

She was born November 8, 1915 in Philadelphia, PA to Gabriele and Michelina Elia Lerro and moved to Davenport in April of 1992 from Long Island, NY. Mary worked for Herrick's School System in New Hyde Park, Long ISland and was of the Catholic Faith attending St. Ann Catholic Church in Haines City when her health permitted and she loved to garden.

She is predeceased by her parents and her husband, Henry Ballin and survived by her son, Henry Ballin of Davenport and her daughter, Adelaide Schmidt of Warren Robbins, GA.

A Mass was said on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at St. Ann Catholic Church and interment followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
