WINTER HAVEN – Dorothy Anne Tomlinson, 78, of Winter Haven, died Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Life Care Center due to heart failure.
Born October 14, 1930 to Delaware T. Webb Sr. and Thelma Pittman Webb in Fenholloway Springs, Fl, she moved to the area in 1962. She attended the University of Florida and Emory University and was retired as a Registered Nurse and Surgical Supervisor from Winter Haven Hospital. She was of the Baptist Faith.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; a sister, Ruby Bristowe; and two brothers, Delaware “Dell” Webb, Jr. and Tom Webb.
She is survived by: her husband of 54 years, Earl A. Tomlinson; a son, E. Allan Tomlinson; four sisters, Jean Kearney, Joyce Page, Annette Kelley and Catherine Renner; a brother, Henry Webb; and three grandsons, Brett, Lee and Stephen Tomlinson.
Funeral Services will be at 3:00pm, Saturday, January 24, 2009 in the Oak Ridge Funeral Care Chapel. Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery.
