WINTER HAVEN - Merry W. Garrett, 80, of Winter Haven died Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Winter Haven Hospital due to heart failure.

Born June 4, 1928 in Wauchula, Fl to Harley and Oroff Wadsworth she has been a lifelong resident of Winter Haven.  She was a homemaker and has been a member of First Presbyterian Church of Winter Haven for over 50 years.  Many knew her to be the most kind and considerate person that you could ever know.

Merry is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill Garrett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm till 7:00pm, Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:30pm, Thursday, January 22, 2009 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Steven Negley and Dr. Alan Harvey officiating.  Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
