LAKE ALFRED - Kenneth Wayne Bradford of Lake Alfred, FL passed away Sunday, January 18, 2009 at the Winter Haven Hospital.  He was 55 years old. 

A native of Akron, Ohio, born July 2, 1953, Kenneth moved here 5 years ago from Jacksonville, FL.  He was a retired mechanic, a US Navy 2nd. Class Petty Officer during the Vietnam era; member of the Knights of Columbus of Winter Haven, the Elks Lodge of Jacksonville, and he was an avid ham radio operator. 

Kenneth is survived by his wife:  Miriam Iveth Bradford of Lake Alfred; his daughters:  Margaret ((Thomas) Wheatly of Interlochen, FL, Carmen (Brent) Johnson of Eau Claire, WI, Yaritza (Brian) Edstrom of Annapolis, MD; his mother:  Nellie Grace Bradford of Akron, OH; his sisters:  Cathy Sabetta and Susan Harrison, both of Ohio, and 6 grandchildren. 

Memorial services will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jacksonville at a later date.
