CLARKS SUMMIT, PA - John R. Craig, 80, of Clarks Summit, PA, died January 11, 2009, at his winter residence in Florida. He was born April 21, 1928 in Rochester, NY. John worked for Time Life Magazine in New York for 17 years. He then worked with U.G.L. for several years before co-founding and publishing the Paper Shop. He was a Presbyterian by faith and a veteran of WW II serving in the US Air Force. Johnʼs interests included reading, music and photography but his greatest joys were his wife and his family. He was predeceased in March of 2008 by his son, Robert G. Craig. John is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joan Craig; daughter, Susan Craig D uckworth; grandchildren, Russell Craig, Stacy Ossenfort, Brittany Smith, Jessica Craig, Robert Ian Craig, Cynthia Craig, Cecilia Craig, Sara Duckworth, Benjamin Duckworth and 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from 2-3 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City with a memorial service to follow at 3 pm.
