Jack "Papa Jack" Guinn  

Jack Guinn

 

DAVENPORT - Jack "Papa Jack" Guinn age 82 of Davenport, Fl. passed away Saturday (1/3/09) from kidney Failure. 

 

Mr. Guinn was born Aug. 14, 1926 in Flagpond, Tennessee, the son of Dennis Wade and Adele (Sams) Guinn. He moved to Haines City area in 1958 from Farmville, Virginia and was the owner of Guinn’s  Super "T"  Truckstop for 20 years in Haines City. Mr. Guinn is a member of Stillwater Christian Life Center, Haines City and a Navy Veteran of World War II. 

 

  

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nevada, Davenport six sons: Jack Guinn, Jr., Johnny Guinn, Donald Guinn, Jimmy Guinn, Ronnie Guinn, Dennis Guinn, two daughters, Mary Lou Adams and Adele Christian, all of Haines City, Three sisters, Alice Spillman, Pauline Shores, and Kathryn Lockner, all of Farmville, Virginia. 18 Grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.  

Visitation will be 5 to 8 PM. Wednesday (1/7/09) at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Services will be 11:00 AM. Thursday (1/8/09) at Stillwater Christian Life Center Haines City, Fl
