Richard  "Darron" Bainbridge

dARRON bAINBRIDGE

DAVENPORT - Richard  "Darron" Bainbridge, age 62 of Davenport, Fl. passed away Thursday (Feb. 19, 2009) at the Heart of Florida Regional Hospital, Haines City, Fl.

Richard "Darron" Bainbridge was born July 5, 1946 at the Hale Hospital in Haverhill, Massachusetts and his siblings, Francie, Frank and Jeff also joined the family.  He lived with his parents Francis & Stella in Groveland Massachusetts.  Darron received his degree in Electrical Engineering  at the Wentworth Institute in Boston.  He worked for Western Electric in Massachusetts which changed hands and he eventually retired from Lucent.

In 1967 he married Judy and had 3 children Don, Darron Allen, & Dody from that relationship they were blessed with 5 grandchildren. As time goes by they parted ways and they each took on a different life.  As the years past, Darron met Marcy Cayer and they married in 1981 and moved to Salem, New Hampshire and  3 more boys, Alex, Greg, and Ben plus 2 more grandchildren were added to the mix.  So, they both ended up with quite a large family.  Darron and Marcy traveled yearly to Florida to see the grandparents and Disney with the 6 children in a Van and then later a motor home (can you just picture that!).  They loved Florida so much that they ended moving here in 2006.

Darron had many interest in his lifetime but mostly loved to get on his sister's case by teasing her endlessly, which he manage to do with everyone else.  He was a quiet man, but when something got his fancy he'd come out with some zingers and Marcy was always saying to him "Stop It!!".  Now let's get serious:  Darron loved to:  travel, visit with family, photographing the life around him (to the extent we had to always wait for him before we could continue our visit (he was a beautiful photographer). Anyone that would happen to ask if he would like to visit the Casino, he would be so happy.  He loved the slot machines whether it was for tickets or coins.

Everyone loved Darron and he will be missed by all.

Family and Friends will gather Sat. (2/28) from 5 PM. till funeral services at 6 PM. at the Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 Grace Avenue, Haines City, Florida
