AUBURNDALE - Mark Kellogg, 67, of Auburndale, Fl lost his battle to cancer Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born November 17,1941 to Lawrence and Pearl Sult Kellogg in Galien, MI, he moved here 2 years ago from Savannah, GA. Mark served in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1960 – 1966. In 1972 he married his wife of 36 years, Lorraine. After retiring in 2007 as a plumber/welder from Georgia Pacific in Rincon, GA, Mark and Lorraine moved to Auburndale, FL where they were members of the Auburndale Community Church. Mark was a member of the Plumbers Local 513.
Make is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Beth Kellogg; a brother, Don Kellogg and a sister, Ann Bruce.
H he is survived by: his wife, Lorraine; 3 step-sons, Doug (Missy) Roggow of Auburndale, FL, Steve (Laura) Roggow of Lakeland, Fl and Mike Roggow of Coloma, MI; 2 brothers, Jerry Kellogg of Mishawaka, IN and Harvey Kellogg of Naples, FL; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He will be greatly missed by his family and all that knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm till 8:00pm, Thursday, Feb. 19,2009 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven. Funeral Services will be at 10:00am, Friday, Feb. 20,2009 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brad Bennett officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hope Hospice, Lakeland Regional Cancer Center or Auburndale Community Church.
