AUBURNDALE – Peggy Ladonna Hurst, 56, of Auburndale died Monday, February 9, 2009 at her residence due to cancer.
 
Born December 1, 1952 in Mountain View, Arkansas to Lawrence and Geraldine Sutton Freeze, she has been a lifelong resident of the area.  She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Winter Haven and has worked as a Bailiff for Polk County Sheriff Dept. for the past 14 years. 
 
Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by: her husband of 37 years, Ronnie D. Hurst; a son, Shannon D. Hurst of Lake Alfred; two brothers, Jackie Freeze of Eagle Lake and Sonny Freeze of Winter Haven; a sister, Erma Modglin of Tennessee; a grandson, Caleb; and a granddaughter, Chloe.
