Benjamin B. Culp, 71, of Lake Wales, Fl Died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Residence Center due to complications from a stroke.

Born February 6, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA he moved to the area 4 years ago from Tamarac, FL where he retired from the Lauderdale West Maintenance Division.  He was of the Episcopal Faith and was a veteran of the National Guard. 

Preceded in death by his father, Benjamin B. Culp, Sr. and a sister, Judy Butt and his step-father, Ellwood Mohl of Ft. Lauderdale; he is survived by:  his wife of 42 years, Lorraine M. Culp; his children, Debra O’ Brien of Fairfield, CT, Georgianna D’Orlando of Oviedo, FL, Katherine Culp of Lake Wales, FL, Nancy Culp-Papierniak of Gainesville, FL and Benjamin L. Culp of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; his mother, Ella Mohl of Sunrise, FL ; 4 brothers, Bill Culp of Sunrise, FL , Allen Mohl of Virginia, Gary Mohl of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Randy Mohl of West Palm Beach, FL ;3 sisters, Shirley Scott of Philadelphia, PA, Lana Stacey of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Darlene mohl of Sunrise, FL . 3 grandsons; and 2 granddaughters.
