EAGLE LAKE - Vera Warren Meadows, 81 of Eagle Lake went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 2, 2009 from heart failure.  She was born on September 18, 1927 in Cairo, Georgia and came to Winter Haven in 1943 with her husband Eddie L. Warren Sr.  She was a member of Bethel Church of God in Bartow.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Eddie L. Warren Sr. and grandson Donald E. Wells, and is survived by her husband, Hoyt Meadows, children; Leon (Liz) Warren, Ronnie (Donna) Warren, and Eddie (Leann) Warren of Winter Haven and Linda Todd of Eagle Lake, and stepchildren Randall (Jennifer) Meadows, Joe (Patsy) Meadows and Faye Brown of Byron Georgia.  Mrs. Meadows had 13 Grandchildren, and 17 Great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.  Services will be Friday at 11 AM at Bethel Church of God in Bartow.  Interment will follow at Lakeside Memorial Park.
