LAKE ALFRED - Mary Ellen Wadley, 67, of Lake Alfred died Friday, December 4, 2009 at Winter Haven Hospital due to congestive heart failure.  

Born September 19, 1942 to William Leo and Margaret Emry Wilbur in Winter Haven she was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  She was retired from Miller, Crosby and Miller, PA where she worked as a Real Estate Assistant.  She was also the past-2nd Vice Pres. Of the USBC Orange Belt Bowling Assn.;  the Co-Founder and President of the Beverly J. Wright Memorial Fund Inc. ; and the past director of the USBC Orange Belt Women's 700 Club.   

Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by: her husband of 46 years, Harold Wadley; 2 sons, Scooter Wadley and his wife Carol of Davenport, FL and Scott Wadley of Lake Alfred; 2 daughters, Angel Sanders and her husband Keith of Bartow, FL and Dawn O'Neill of Lake Alfred; 3 brothers, Bobby Wilbur of San Antonio, TX, Billy Wilbur of Brooksville, FL and Timmy Wilbur of Winter Haven; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.   

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm till 7:00pm, Monday, Dec. 7, 2009 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009 in the Funeral Home Chapel.
