HAINES CITY - Roy "R.E."  Bryant, age 71 of Haines City, FL passed away Monday (12/28/09) at his home from cancer.

Mr. Bryant was born Dec. 2, 1938 in Crossville, Tennessee, the son of Roy E. and Daisy E. (Jones) Bryant and moved to Haines City in September of 1971 from Dayton, Ohio. He was a licensed building contractor and owned Roy E. Bryant and Sons Construction. He was a member of the Winter Haven Worship Center. 

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Judy K. (Montgomery) Bryant, two sons, Jeff Bryant of Davenport, Fl. and Tim Bryant of Haines City, Fl. daughter, Lori Bulow of Winter Haven, Fl; two  brothers, Sam Bryant of Haines City, Fl. and Loy Bryant of Dayton, Ohio; three sisters, Barbara Miller of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Peggy Templeton of Midway, Ohio, and Linda Newberry of Huber Heights, Ohio; 4 Grandchildren, Brandon and Brooke Bryant, Ty Cox and Zac Bulow;  Great Granddaughter, Madalynn Grace Bryant and Several nieces and nephews.

Friends and Family will gather from  9:30 AM. till services at 10:00 AM. Saturday (1/2/10) at Winter Haven Worship Center. 

Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to: Cornerstone Hospice or M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Orlando.
