WINTER HAVEN - Ann B. Shoemaker age 83 of Winter Haven went to be with her Lord on Saturday (Dec.6,2009)  at Life Care Center of Winter Haven after a battle with cancer.

Ann was born  Feb 2, 1926 in Blytheville, Ark., the daughter of Horace Edgar and Lucetta (Fisher) Barnett. She and her husband moved here August 31, 1989 from Annadale, Virginia.
Ann was retired as an administrative assistant for Chicago Title Co. and a member of First Baptist Church of Lucerne Park, Winter Haven. She loved her church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and sung in the Choir. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Francis "Buddy" Shoemaker; daughter Lu Ann Kubik of New Orleans, La;  brother, Edgar Fisher Barnett of Houston, Tx; and a sister Jane Thompson of Baton Rouge, La.
