HAINES CITY - Esther J. Campbell (84) of Haines City, Florida passed away Dec. 17, 2009 at the Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale, Fl. following an extended illness.
Born to John C. Sherrets and Francie Osburn Sherrets on 10/12/1925 in Valencia, Kansas. She graduated from Harveyville High School in 1943 and attended Santa Fe Business School. February 5, 1944 she married Gerald L. Campbell and moved to Twin Falls, Idaho where she remained until May of 2007 when she moved to Florida to be near her son.
She was employed by Henry's Warehouse as a potato grader and sorter, Twin Falls Bank and Trust as a head teller, was active in DAV, loved her children and grandchildren, loved to crochet and work in her garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers (Clinton & Chester Sherrets), and son (Jerald Duane). She is survived by her sister Fay Schodde of Haines City, Fl. two sons, Wayne Campbell of Haines City, Fl. and Jon Campbell of Filer Idaho, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her loving dog, Kota.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM. Saturday (12/19/09) at the Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 Grace Avenue, Haines City, Fl. Further visitation and services will be at the White Mortuary, 136 4th. Avenue East, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301 (208-733-6600).
