HAINES CITY - Myrtis Beasley, age 89 of Haines City, Florida passed away Wednesday (Dec. 2, 2009) at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center from heart failure. Miss Beasley was born November 14, 1920 in Luverne, Alabama and moved to this area in 1946 from Baldwin County, Alabama.

She worked with her family; Father, Ferman and Mother Nora Beasley in their vegetable farm and later for Winter Haven Canning Plant. She is preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, William “Bill” Beasley, Sam Garner and Ernie Furr. Survivors are her sister Lelia Moseley of Luverne, Alabama and a cousin Doris Beasley of Haines City, Several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will gather Saturday (12/5/09) from 1 PM. till services at 2 PM. at the Central Church of Christ in Haines City, Fl. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Oak Ridge Funeral Care in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be sent via: oakridgefuneralcare.com
