AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Ruth Green, age 84 a resident of Auburndale, FL passed away Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Good Shepherd Hospice due to natural causes.  

Mrs. Green was born October 4, 1924 in Cambridge, MA, daughter of George and Blanch Campbell.  She lived in Sewanee, TN, South Pittsburg, TN, and Cartersville, GA before moving to Auburndale, in  1996. She loved life and making people happy.  She was passionate about knitting, crocheting, and cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 son, Bobby Joe Green.

Ruth is survived by her loving and devoted family: husband George Green of Auburndale, FL; 2 sons: Douglas McGunnis of Utah, Donnie & Brenda Green of Auburndale, FL; 1 daughter:  Diane & Charlie James of Keystone Heights, FL; 4 grandchildren: Hollis Osbourn of West Virginia, Tammy Parsons of Orange Park, FL, Shane Green of Lakeland, FL,  Kim Redding of Pensacola, FL; 10 great grandchildren; 1 sister: Irene Junkins of Amherst, NH.
