HAINES CITY - H. C. Cook age 91 of Haines City passed away Wednesday (4/29/09)  at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale from heart failure. 

Mr. Cook was born in Colquitt, Ga. on January 23, 1918 and moved to Haines City in 1936  where he owner and operator of  H. C. Cook and Sons Citrus.  He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Haines City. 

Mr. Cook is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mildred Cook. Son Danny  and Jeanne Cook of Haines City. Daughter,  Jan and Mike Crowell of Crystal River, Fl. 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Friends and family will gather from 10AM. Saturday (5/2/09) morning at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, with services starting at 11:00 AM.  Pastor Jim Drake of Eastside Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City.
