WINTER HAVEN – Aubrey "Pete" K. Peeples, 77, of Winter Haven, died Monday, April 27, 2009 at his residence due to renal failure.

Born April 11, 1932 in Bowling Green, Fl he moved to the area in 1951.  He was of the Methodist Faith and was retired from Homes of Merit.

Preceded in death by a son, Richard Aubrey Peeples and a brother, Medford Peeples, he is survived by: his wife of 36 years, Christine Peeples; 3 sons, Jimmy , Gene and Dwayne Albritton; a daughter, Cathy Hicks; a brother, Arlin Peeples; 2 sisters, Ann Huff and Norcel Cannon; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm till 8:00pm, Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven.  Funeral Services will be at 3:00pm, Thursday, April 30, 2009 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Haig and Rev. Dale Hammond officiating.  Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
