WEST MELBOURNE - Ida M. Cain, 91, of Cocoa, Fl died Sunday, April 26, 2009 at the Indian River Center in West Melbourne.
Born May 13, 1917 in Early County, GA , she moved to Cocoa 3 years ago from Waverly, FL. She was the owner of Tommy’s Market in Waverly and a member of the First Baptist Church of Waverly. She will be remembered for her love of sewing and baking.
Preceded in death by her husband Tom W. Cain, Sr. and a daughter, Judy Ann Cain, she is survived by: a son, Tom W. Cain, Jr. of Babson Park, FL ; 2 daughters, Mable (Johnny) Fletcher of Cocoa, Fl and Elizabeth (Bill) Nell Storm of Lake Pierce, FL and Minnesota; a brother, Durelle Evans of Lakeland, FL; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00am till 11:00am, Sat. May 2, 2009 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven . Funeral Services will be at 11:00am.
Interment will follow at Lakeside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the First Baptist Church of Waverly, P.O. Box 296, Waverly, FL 33877.
