HAINES CITY- FLORIDA  - Mary "Ruth" Jones, Secretary, Aged  81 went to be with the Lord on 4/24/2009 due to heart failure.

Born in Olney, MD, she moved to Berryville, VA, where she raised her sons.  She later lived in Laurel, MD and Haines City, FL.  She worked as a secretary for the Federal Department of Justice and later worked at Heart of Florida Hospital in the business office.

Preceded in death by her son Johnny F. Jones, she is survived by: sons, Michael Jones, wife Ann and daughter Vilma from Richmond, VA, David Jones and son Eliot and daughter Hannah.  She is also survived by her pets and her roommate and best friend Ray Cather.

Ruth is being cremated and an intimate family Memorial Service will take place at a later date.  Memorial donations can be sent to: Faith Lutheran Church, Haines City, Good Shepherd Hospice, Auburndale or The S.P.C.A in Lakeland. Condolences may be sent to www.oakridgefuneralcare.com
