WINTER HAVEN, FLORIDA - Alvin Cullifer of Winter Haven passed away Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Winter Haven Hospital.  He was 70 years old. 

 

A native of Holmes County, Florida, born November 11, 1938, Alvin has been a lifelong resident of this area.  He retired as a Car Salesman, was a member of the Auburndale Life Church, and he was a US Air Force veteran. 

 

Alvin is survived by his sons:  Danny Cullifer of Auburndale, FL, and Eddie Cullifer of Nashville, TN; his daughters:  Wendy Grandstaff of Howe, IN, and Robbie  Miller of LaGrange, IN ; his brother:  Lonnie Hough of Lake Alfred, FL; his sisters:  Nellie Gray and Johnnie Mae Soles, both of Auburndale; his step-father:  Ralph Hough of Auburndale, and  several  grandchildren. 

 

Visitation will be Monday, April 20, 2009 from 10 to 11:00 AM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM from the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be at Auburndale Cemetery.
