WINTER HAVEN, FLORIDA - Lura Ann Yankee of Winter Haven passed away Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Winter Haven Health & Rehab Center.  She was 93. 

A native of Middle Branch Township, MI, born January 6, 1916, Lura moved to Winter Haven from Dunnellon, Florida 4 years ago.  She was a Homemaker, a Catholic, and a member of the Eveready Club of Marion, Michigan. 

Lura was preceded in death by her husbands:  Robert A. Landrum & Richard Yankee, and her son:  Calvin Landrum, and a granddaughter: Peggy Wood.  She is survived by her son:  Robert M. (Christine) Landrum of The Villages, FL, her daughters:  Elaine (Leary) Wood of Winter Haven; and Sue Ann (Martin) Steiner of Cosby TN; daughter-in-law:  Mary Lou Landrum of Midland, MI; her step-sons: Richard Yankee of Traverse City, MI, Dennis Yankee of Hawaii, and Brent Yankee of Michigan; and her step-daughters:  Cheryl Samson of Clarkston, MI, and Susan Montague of Cadillac, MI..  Lura also has  6 grandchildren, and   5  great-grandchildren, and several step-grandchilren, and step-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews..
