Orlando passed
away Friday,
April 3, 2009 at
the Dr. Phillips
Sand Lake
Hospital in
Orlando from
complications of
diabetes..
He was
87.
A native of Edon,
Ohio, born
August 17, 1921,
Raymond came to
Orlando 3 years
ago from Winter
Haven.
He
retired as a
buyer for Bowen
Brothers Citrus;
was a US Army
veteran during
World War II,
serving in
France; a member
of the American
Legion Post #8
in Winter Haven;
and he also was
a member of
Grace Lutheran
Church.
He was preceded
in death by his
son:
Dean
Rockey, and a
brother:
Herbert
Rockey.
He is
survived by his
loving wife of
49 ½ years
Pauline V.
Rockey; his son:
Ronnie
(Leslie) Rockey
of Morganton,
NC; daughter:
Angela
(Alain) Grange
of Orlando; his
brothers:
Donald,
Hillis, and
James Rockey of
Montpelier, OH,
and Clinton
Rockey of Lima,
Ohio.
Raymond
also his 2
grandchildren:
Alain-Alexandre
and Alina Grange
of Orlando.
Visitation will
be Tuesday,
April 7, from 10
until 11AM at
Oak Ridge
Funeral Care in
Winter Haven.
Funeral
services will
follow at 11 AM
from the funeral
home chapel.
Interment
will follow at
Lakeside
Memorial Park.
