POLK CITY – Rosa Maria Chairez, 69, of Polk City, FL died Thursday, April 2, 2009 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Resident Center due to a stroke.

Born June 1, 1939 in Guadalajara,, Mexico, she moved to the area 30 years ago.   She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Faith.

Rosa is survived by: 6 daughters, Soledad Benitez of Haines City, Olga Chairez of Sebring, FL, Lucy Ramirez of Polk City, FL, Esmeralda Cifuentes of Davenport, FL, Cecelia Chairez of Dundee, FL and Celia Vasquez of Miami, FL; her brothers, Manuel Rodriguez of Guadalajara, Mexico, Pascual Rodriguez of Guadalajara, Mexico, Refugio Rodriguez of Guadalajara, Mexico , Ruben Rodriguez of Guadalajara, Mexico Jesus Rodriguez of Denver, CO, Jose Rodriguez of Denver, CO, Luis Rodrguez of Guadalajara, Mexico, Pepe Rodriguez of Guadalajara, Mexico, Cuco Rodriguez of Guadalajara, Mexico; her sisters, Alicia Rodriguez of Denver, CO and Micaela Rodriguez Guadalajara, Mexico.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm till 5:00pm, Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 Grace Avenue, Haines City, FL 33844.  Funeral Services will be at 3:00pm, Monday, April 6, 2009 in the Oak Ridge Funeral Care Chapel.  Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
