Herman was born February 22, 1938 in Haines City, Florida to Wright Robert Davis and Christine M. Gay Davis and has been a lifelong resident of Haines City. Herman was employed with Disney as a banquet server and a member of Loughman Baptist Church in Loughman, Florida.

Herman is survived by his family; including his son, Daniel Davis; sister, Angela Black; and Brother, Roland Davis; and several grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, Florida with his brother Roland Davis officiating. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, Florida.
