COLUMBUS, OHIO – Louis Joseph Macri of Lake Wales, FL, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2008 at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, OH from heart failure. 

He was 86 years old.  A native of Utica, NY, born April 18, 1922, Louis moved her in 1989 from Utica.  He was a retired meat processor for Utica Veal Company in New York; a US Army veteran during World War II, and he was a member of the Center Point Church in Lake Wales, FL.

Louis is predeceased by his wife:  Josephine Macri, and a son:  Frank Macri.  He is survived by his sons: Louis J. (Jennifer) Macri, Jr. of Winter Haven, FL; John (Karen) Macri of Lake Wales, FL; his daughters:  Linda Macri of Lake Wales, FL, Kathy Ball of Frankfort, NY; his daughter in law:  roma Macri; his brother rocco Macri of Sanquite, NY, his sister:  Carmella Vasile of Utica, NY; and his companion:  Mabel Meyers of Lake Wales, FL.  Louis also has 11 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.  Graveside services will be Friday, September 5, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery in  Bushnell, FL.
