INVERNESS - Michael R. "Yankee Mike" Smith, 46, of Inverness, FL, passed away on October 25, 2008, in Davenport, FL.
He was born November 27, 1961 in Long Island, NY and made his home here for the past 30 years. Yankee Mike was a professional painter who loved being out on the water fishing or in the woods camping.
He is survived by his ex wife, Donna Marie Smith; daughter Natasha Smith Sotomayor and her husband, Erik; son, Aaron Jarret Smith; parents, Rodger A. and Antoinette F. Smith; brother, Marc A. Smith.
A memorial service will be held at Ft. Cooper Baptist Church, 4222 S. FL Ave., Inverness, FL on Saturday November 1, 2008 at 10 am.
