HAINES CITY - Leo Russel Barbeau of Haines City, FL passed away Friday, October 17, 2008 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Residents Center in Auburndale, FL.  He was 68. 

A native of Mobile Alabama, born January 21, 1940, Leo moved here 14 years ago grom Oakville, Ontario.  He retired as Signal Department Supervisor for the Toronto Railway.  Leo was a US Navy veteran, member of the American Legion Post 8 of Winter Haven, FL; the Kissimmee Cribbage Club, and he was a Catholic. 

He is survived by a son:  Michael Barbeau of Mississauga, Ontario; daughters:  Doris Ann Barbeau of Toronto, Tracey Carley & Danielle Parney, both of Oakville, Ontario; a sister:  Judith Maslanka of Oakville, Ontario, and a step-sister:  Doris Ann Moore of Rochester, MN.  Leo also has 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
