| | Carol Jean Ostrum Peterson 
WINTER HAVEN - Carol Jean Ostrum Peterson was born to Laurance and Lynda Ostrum of Wisconsin, married Marvin C. Peterson (Pete) on April 2, 1953, son of the late Henry and Serena Peterson of Wisconsin. They resided in Wautoma Wisconsin until 1984, when after retirement moved to Winter Haven Florida. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Carol is survived by her "adopted family" Mike Robertson and his children Brandon, Lauren, Tyler, Michael, Cheyenne and Cody who will all miss their "Grandma Carol" who shared so much love for so many years. Her presence will be missed by Nancy and Don Robertson and Dawn and Eric McCoy as their families gather for the Holidays. Carol and Marvin were very active in their community with friends too numerous to mention, visits to Centerstate Bank became a social event as they were greeted by friends who became their extended family. Her visits to Lasaters Flowers will be missed by Chris Hazelwood, a dear friend who was with Carol till life's end. Her niece by marriage Linda Turrentine along with daughter Dylan will miss her sweet letters and stories. May the sweetest woman we have met be swept swiftly to heaven to be joined once again with her loving husband to share happiness for all of eternity with our Lord. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, Fl.
