NAPLES - Tony Stephen Monroe Dixon, 25, of Naples, Fl, formerly of Auburndale, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2008 in Naples.  

Born March 17, 1983 in Lakeland, FL, Monroe moved to Naples 12 years ago from Auburndale. Monroe was of the Baptist Faith and worked installing Fire Sprinkler Systems for R.J. Van Mechanical in Ft. Myers, FL.   

Monroe was preceded in death by: his maternal great-grandfather, J.W. Fussell; maternal grandfather, Horace Monroe Huggins; maternal grandmother, Linda Jean Propst and an uncle, Henry J. Dixon.  

He is survived by: a son, Mason Monroe  Stephen Dixon of Naples; his parents, Carl and Dena Dixon of Naples; a sister, Alicia Ashley of Auburndale; Paternal grandmother, Edna L. Day of Auburndale; Maternal grandfather, Tony Propst of Lakeland, FL;  his Paternal great grandmother, Irma Lee Fussell of Auburndale; and four aunts, Diane Riddell, Denise Delmas, Debbie Walling and Dodie Kirby.  

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm till 8:00pm, Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven. 

Funeral Services will be at 10:00am, Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008 in the Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
