AUBURNDALE, FLORIDA – Rhoda Minerva Whitman of Auburndale passed away Saturday, November 15, 2008 at home from respiratory failure.  She was 90 years old. 

A native of Auburndale, born May 27, 1918, Rhoda has been a lifelong resident of the area.  She was a homemaker, and attended Bereah Baptist Church.

Rhoda is survived by her son:  Ronald Whitman of Benson, NC; her daughters:  Rhonda McCarty of Auburndale, and Sharon Mandrelle of Bartow, FL.  She also has 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
