Winter Haven -  William George Ahles, 81, of Winter Haven died Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Good Shepherd Residents Center in Auburndale. 

Born December 22, 1926 in Cresson, PA, he lived in Nazareth, PA before living as a full time RV’er for 6 years and settled in the Winter Haven area in 1994.  He worked as an electronics salesman and was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church in Winter Haven.  He was also a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Ahles is survived by his wife of 61 years, Arlene Ahles; and a daughter, Joyce Lynn Ahles of Nazareth, PA.  

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00A.M. ,Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008 in the Oak Ridge Funeral Care Chapel, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven..
