HAINES CITY - Essie Glover Register of Haines City, Fl. passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 of natural causes.

Born to William Arthur and Mary Iola Glover on December 15, 1917 in Lake Butler, Florida.

Predeceased by her loving husband, John T. “Jake” Register and infant daughter, Linda Gail. Survived by one son, Wayne Register and wife, Shirley of Sandersville, Ga. two daughters, Barbara Costello, Lake Hamilton, Fl. and Mary Alice Green and husband, Richard, of Solivita, Fl. 9 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great, Great Grandchildren.

She will be in our hearts forever as a loving wife and mother.  She was a wonderful cook who loved to entertain family and friends.  If you were lucky enough to receive one of her famous Rum Cakes and cookies during the holidays, you knew you were loved.

Words cannot express our love and gratitude to Haines City Health Care and especially the nurses and CNA’s at Station One who provided such outstanding care for our mother.

Also, we wish to thank the special team from Good Shepherd Hospice who provided the comfort and understanding during our time of need.

Visitation to be from 10AM. to 11 AM. November 15, 2008 with service immediately following at Oak Ridge Funeral Care. Haines City, Fl and interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City, Florida.
