DAVENPORT -- Mr. Richard L. Denham, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in Haines City. He was 44 years old.

Born to Richard Lee Denham, Sr. and Kathleen Crouch Denham on April 8, 1964 in Bartow, Florida, he was a lifelong resident of Davenport. He worked 19 years as a Stewart at Coral Reef Restaurant, he was an avid Nascar fan, particularly fond of Jeff Gordon #24 and a great fan of wrestling. He was Baptist by Faith.

Richie was preceded in death by his father, Richard, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Kathy of Davenport; paternal grandmother, Helen Denham also of Davenport; uncles and aunts, Terry and Vickie Crouch, Doris Schoonmaker, Ron and Jan Crouch, Ted and Dean Denham, Ann and Paul Simms, Curt Denham, Bobby Dobbins and many cousins.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2008 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2008 in the Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Robert Schoonmaker of Crossroads Baptist Church in Valdosta, Georgia will officiate. Interment will follow the Services at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City.
