HAINES CITY - Doris Leszczynski, 80, of Haines City, FL, died November 2, 2008, in Haines City, FL following a long battle with Alzheimerʼs disease.

She was born January 21, 1928 in Hazel Park, MI and moved here in 1989. Doris was a homemaker who enjoyed baking wedding cakes for her family and friends and she loved to sing Christian music. She was Lutheran by faith and received many prayers and blessings from her husbandʼs parish, Faith Lutheran Church, Haines City.

Doris is predeceased by her daughter, Linda Leszczynski and her son, Donald Leszczynski and she is survived by her husband, of 59 years, Louis Leszczynski; son, Dennis Leszczynski and his wife Anne of Weirsdale, FL; daughter-in-law, Denise Leszczynski of Warren, MI; grandchildren, Grant and his wife Heather and Kelly Leszczynski and great grandchild, Kaylee Leszczynski all of Warren, MI.

Visitation will be Nov. 8, 2008 from 1-2 pm at C.L. Forshee & Sons, Funeral Home, Au Gres, MI and services will follow at 2 pm at Simms Cemetery, Au Gres, MI. Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City in charge of local arrangements.
