WINTER HAVEN- Mr. William "Bill" Boyd Johnson passed away on, Wednesday, May 21 in an automobile accident.

Born in Reidsville, NC on Dec 20^th 1936. Moved to Winter Haven 25 years go. Assisted in establishing the aviation department at GTCC in NC, where he instructed aviation for 11 years. Happily piloted for 48 years and was in the automobile business for 20 years.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents: Rev Boyd Clegg Johnson, Marion A. Johnson and brothers David Allen Johnson and Ronald Mark Johnson. His loving wife Arlene S. Johnson, daughter Marian Elizabeth Smith, and stepson Derrick Ryan Hagood, two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a loving sister-in-law Debbie Kennedy survive him.

Surviving siblings Virginia J. Young (husband Michael), Major Esther J. James (husband Melvin), James L. Johnson (wife Lavinia), Wesley H. Johnson (wife Cynthia), Wayne M. Johnson (wife Linda), Terry B. Johnson (wife Susan), Boyd C. Johnson (wife Shirley), Sister-in-laws Charlene Johnson and Barbara Johnson. He is also survived by his special cat "Tommy" who was his constant companion.
